Fantastic! Fresh! Fabulous!

The service was Pittsburgh friendly.
The pita bread was served warm with fresh, homemade hummus.
The Mediterranean salad was delicious and served on a chilled plate.
I had the zucchini and crab cakes appetizers.
So fresh and hot. Fabulous!
Yummy!
The food was made well along with a pleasing presentation in the casual, clean and comfortable atmosphere of Amel's.

I had horrible service and the waitress DIane T was miserable . Sat in patio ordered a few drinks and she rushed us to order. I brought a friend from out of town to dinner. Wasn’t very good we took 2 bites of our salad and the food arrived . The Sangria was not good . Overall a terrible experience . Server was unhappy and seemed irritated when we asked food menu questions and wanted to rush us out . I won’t be back

I've been going to Amel's since 1984. You used to have decent sized stuffed grape leaves in a nice decent roll...now it's a little clump of leave with barely a smidgeon of filling. Also, we got the mixed kebab, 2 little chunks of meat and 1 shrimp...thanks. are they endangered? and the pita bread is dry and hard...almost stale. prices keep going up and portions are skimpy....what happened? getting too greedy...very disappointed...not like the old days..I'm not coming back anymore..
